A 24/7 SOS lifeline
for seniors, built into a dog collar.

The story

Conceived after a real warning — built for the neighbours who heard it.

The idea for Lifeline Collars was born after elderly residents nearby were broken into and assaulted. Their dog was home with them — and the dog, wearing its everyday collar, became the missing link.

Deb, our founder, has spent years in the Western Australian handmade BioThane and paracord collar trade and saw first-hand how many of her customers are older Australians living alone with a beloved pet. Personal alarms are a well-known category for seniors — but only when they are carried. Our bet is simple: if the help button lives on the collar the dog is already wearing, it cannot be left on the kitchen bench on a bad day.

A safety-first product

“A discreet, wearable line to help — without asking seniors to remember to carry a separate device.”

How it works

One button. The dog does the carrying.

No phone to find, no charger to remember, no panic-button pendant left on the nightstand. If something feels wrong, the owner presses the side of the collar the dog is already wearing — and a 24/7 connection begins.

  1. 01

    Press

A single tactile button on the side of the collar. Large enough to find by feel, raised enough to press without looking.

  2. 02

    Connect

The collar transmits over cellular — and falls back to satellite where there is no signal — to a 24/7 monitoring desk.

  3. 03

    Dispatch

Trained operators identify the wearer, confirm over the open channel, and dispatch the nearest emergency service to the home.

What is inside

Quiet on the outside. Engineered for the worst afternoon inside.

Hand-assembled in WA from components chosen for reliability over specs on a brochure — a real collar first, a lifeline second.

Craft

A real collar, first.

Built on the same BioThane and paracord you already trust for everyday pet wear — waterproof, comfortable for the dog, and quiet about what is inside.

Operation

A discreet side button.

The SOS button sits flush against the side of the collar, raised just enough to press without looking — operable by feel, protected against accidental triggers.

Resilience

Two paths to help.

Cellular in town, satellite when there is no signal — because most at-risk homes sit at the edge of coverage, not in the middle of it.
